Signage is a central element of any branding program. Whether it’s a new store front, office space, or other place of business, your signage is there to help you attract new customers, convey your message, and create brand recognition.
One of the most challenging aspects of buying new signage is making sure that your signs display your brand faithfully and get installed on time. There are several aspects of a project that can affect the timing of sign installation but two of the most important are municipal permits and logistics. Permits and logistics need to be managed carefully for each project to make sure your signage stays on schedule..
At Lauretano, we manage projects successfully all over the world by staying in constant communication with the customer, our team, and contractors. Clear and frequent communication is the key that allows us to minimize errors and set clear expectations. We keep everyone informed about the project every step of the journey..
Lauretano Project Communication is a two tier process:
- At the beginning of each project, the Lauretano project management and sales teams have a conference call with everyone involved to discuss each sign, lead times, and our installation approach. We also consult with the customer regarding everything we need from them, including electrical access, blocking, OSHA requirements, among other things.
- For the remainder of the project, our project management team provides weekly updates with a list of specific items to be accomplished during the week. We strive to make sure that our customers are the first to know the status of their project.
As Mike Lauretano Sr. always says, “we are a project management company that happens to make signs in our factories”.
