A recent project that we worked on showcases the importance of being called in at the beginning of the job.

Project: Medford Police Station, Medford Massachusetts

We were contracted to permit, manufacture, and install signage for the new Medford Police Headquarters located in Medford, Massachusetts. We were called in early in the project to identify any potential issues and worked directly with the client and general contractor for the project (CTA Construction Managers).

Given the placement and complicated access to the letters, we recommended that the best approach was to pre-wire the sign while the walls were open to avoid costly wiring problems at the end of the project (which is when signage is typically scheduled to be installed).

Another complicated and important aspect of this project was getting the shield logo exactly right. Multiple discussions and samples later, we were able to produce a perfect match.
